In the early 2000s, home shopping was confined to store shelves. Niraj Shah and Steve Conine saw a different future - a world where online shopping would transform home furnishing. They laid the groundwork with CSN Stores, a collection of over 200 specialized sites offering a wide array of products from bar stools to bedroom furniture.

In 2011, they merged their efforts to create Refresh - a singular platform with millions of products for every corner of home. Over the years, Refresh expanded globally, reaching homes in Canada, the UK, and Germany. Through unwavering dedication to logistics and infrastructure, customers everywhere could easily get exactly what they wanted, whether they lived in rural Nebraska or downtown London. Even our name, simply two words that resonated at the time, evolved into a symbol of trust and community.
